Babies

Here are some pictures of Perry Kate and all of her new family that she has! The champagne was flowing that day as we all welcomed our newest member of the family. Can't wait until the next baby will be born and that will be this fall. My brother and his wife will have their third child !

First Week of School 2009

Duncan is #30 in this picture

Well, this week was a lot more hectic than I had even imagined! Nana's birthday was Monday and I took a gift by there and seemed to run errands all day! Mary Randal started gymnastics again and she is in Level 2 . Duncan started 5th grade tackle football and he looks so cute in his uniform! Collin has been practicing hard at 9th grade football. I feel so sorry for them practicing in this heat we've been having though. Mary Randal took her rabbit to school this week and he made quite an impression at school - he made a big mess kicking out litter in Mrs. Hite's class. Mary Randal went to her first sleepover slumber party Sat. night and I thought I might get a call in the middle of the night but I didn't. They are all growing up so fast it's scary! Our whole family went to Cleveland Saturday and met my brother Jeff and his girls at the Warehouse for lunch that was fun and then to Aunt Margie's house to see David and Celeste Collin's new baby girl. She is so sweet and beautiful! She was born at 9lbs.4ounces and is now 14 pounds. Such an angelic little thing. Of course Mary Randal and I had a fit over her! It was great seeing my cousins who live in Ocean Springs and who I don't get to see enough of. It was a great day!

More Seaside......

What a mighty God we Serve!!!!! The night before we left, at dusk, I got some really good photos of the kids in the ocean. I love this one of the moon out. They were still wanting to swim in the ocean and they were the only ones out there still riding the waves!

Osaka was once again a great dining experience : we went to the Sushi Bar first and I tried Sea Urchin for the first time - I didn't like it at all. It was too slimy! Collin got a California Roll as usual. Collin got the most expensive entree they had - steak and lobster, Duncan his usual Teriaki chicken and Mary Randal Steak. I got scallops and Randy steak . All was Habachi and the chef was really good this year. We all enjoyed it so much! Mary Randal bought a fan.

Crossing the Mid Bay Bridge into Destin is always so exciting for the kids - seeing the big water!

"All I want for my birthday today is lots of ocean, big kahunas, fried green tomatoes, and my build a puppy!" So she got her wish!

Big Daddy had fun on the beach that day with the blow up boat!

Seaside 2009

Wow! What a great time we had on our summer vacation this year! We swore we weren't going to do as much on vacation and really rest and enjoy it more slowly but it still went by so fast! We went to the water park on Mary Randal's real birthday and went to Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum and enjoyed the 4D theater. We rented bikes for 4 days (all 5 of us) and that was so much fun! We would like the 20 minute ride into Seaside every morning on them eat snowcones and then meander through Watercolor /Seaside area and then head back and go to the beach. We really enjoyed the bikes! Something we have never done - Randy said we needed to do this every day at home! I got a three wheeler bike with basket for hauling drinks, shopping bags, skateboards, etc.. We will definitely do that again next time. We got back around 9:00 Sunday night and had a flea problem in our house. The next day I had to drive to Greenville 4 times and Indianola once because Collin started 9th grade football and Mary Randal cheer camp and we had to go get Benji our house dog from boarding at the vet. I also had to let out 4 flea bombs in the house . What a day Monday was!!! The whole week has been like that but the kids registered for school today and school officially starts tomorrow. Then the quiet will come around the house and all those summer projects that I never got done will hopefully start getting done. I love my life!
